How much does a bookkeeper cost?
It depends on your number of accounts, your monthly transaction volume and the add-ons you choose, such as payroll, sales tax filing or e-commerce integrations. Ivory Balance Books starts with a 15-minute discovery call, then sends a custom proposal. No tiers to qualify for.
What's included in monthly bookkeeping?
Categorization and reconciliation of all your accounts, a P&L, balance sheet and cash summary by the 10th of each month, direct access to your bookkeeper and a year-end package for your CPA.
Do you work with my CPA?
Yes. The books are kept clean and current all year, then handed over as an organized year-end package your CPA can file from. If you don't have a CPA yet, Melanie can point you toward one she trusts.
Do you file my taxes?
No. Income tax returns are your CPA's role. Sales tax filing and 1099 filing are available as add-ons, and they are separate from your annual income tax return.
